Margaret Keane

As president and CEO, Margaret Keane leads the Retail Consumer Finance (RCF) unit of GE Money - Americas, a leading provider of credit services to over 50 million consumers throughout the U.S., Canada and Latin America. Keane’s business unit -- the largest in the Americas -- focuses exclusively on credit card services the company provides to major retailers. Her business focuses on growth initiatives for its retail partners, provides dedicated functional expertise and streamlined decision-making, as well as develops advanced technology for retail applications.

Keane was named a GE officer in 2005 -- an honor bestowed on few executives at GE -- in recognition of the many contributions she has made at the helm of GE Money - Americas’ largest business.

Keane has enjoyed a long career with GE, most recently serving as senior vice president of operations for GE Money-Americas. In this position, she led the business’ customer service, telecommunications, sourcing and productivity programs. Prior to joining GE in 1996, she worked for Citibank in New York City.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in government/politics and an MBA from St. John’s University in Queens, NY.
