GE Money and Beaulieu Of America Roll Out ‘America’s Carpet Card’

New program offers dealer and consumer incentives

KETTERING, OHIO – Nov. 6, 2006 – GE Money – Sales Finance and Beaulieu of America, the country’s third largest carpet manufacturer, today announced they have signed a five-year agreement to introduce a new consumer financing program, America’s Carpet Card.

“According to Beaulieu, the new private label credit card program will offer its Retail Partner Program (RPP) dealers robust enrollment incentives during the initial launch period as well as exciting consumer promotions with special buy downs throughout the year.

“GE Money offers consumer promotions and marketing tools that will energize our RPP dealers and create new sales opportunities,” said Pete Ciganovich, executive vice president of sales for Beaulieu of America. “We were impressed by the resources and options GE provides to help our dealers run successful and profitable businesses. We know that GE will do a great job at all levels to support their credit product with our dealers and customers.”

Dealers who participate in the Beaulieu of America Retail Partner Program are considered an elite group among their peers. To qualify for RPP status, dealers must demonstrate solid expertise and business acumen related to selling high end carpets in the residential market, which represented 74 percent of total U.S. domestic sales in the floor coverings industry last year. Benefits of the RPP program participation include rebates, performance award points and a comprehensive advertising program, in addition to early participation in the new consumer financing program operated by GE Money.

“Our 20 years of experience in the flooring market is strong and we’re thrilled to bring this to bear for Beaulieu as we roll out the initial program for RPP dealers,” explained Sherri Jeckering, relationship manager for GE Money’s Sales Finance unit. “Beaulieu has a track record of innovation in the industry, and we look forward to supporting their continued growth and expanding dealer network.”
